With its beautiful beaches, party places and dining destinations, Goa will always be one of India’s most frequented getaway spots. The culinary space has taken note of it and Goa today is bustling with multiple restaurants and bar openings every week. With the F&B scene getting so saturated, it’s hard to find that one spot where the food, drinks and ambience equally impress. On my recent visit to Goa, I decided to head to a place that’s known for its gorgeous sunsets, glimmering waters, upbeat music and vibrant ambience – Rockpool in W Goa gives you all of that plus co*cktails and meals that will leave you satisfied.
Tucked away amidst the sunkissed shores of Vagator Beach in North Goa, Rockpool epitomises luxury, relaxation and coastal allure. You can recharge at noon by the pool, catch the magnificent golden hour by the beach with W signatures or classics like Paloma and Negronis, or dance into the night with the sunset as your backdrop. I was lucky to catch the Belgian electronic sensation, Stavroz, who mesmerised the crowd with their fusion of organic instruments and electronic beats.
The party ain’t over at Rockpool. The cliffside bar is all set to take its party scene a notch higher with 5 exclusive bar takeovers beginning today. So if you’re heading to Goa for a summer vacay, head to La Paloma, Rockpool as acclaimed bars are going to stir things up with craftsmanship.
1. Luca Cinalli
Often referred to as the “Italian Maestro of co*cktails,” Luca Cinalli is set to bring his expertise to showcase innovative co*cktail blends with Goan ingredients. Cinalli has consulted, mixed and invented new drinks all over the world. After working at the renowned Oriole in London for over 3 years, he has now gone solo, designing new menus and creating interesting co*cktails for patrons worldwide. Sip on co*cktails created by the Maestro against the backdrop of golden hour, music by DJ Shazze and fire dancers.
