Great insights in the impact of Russian battlefield targeting of logistical support areas and needed countermeasures. Battlefield deception is a great supplement to battlefield mobility and agility. The close proximity of the BSA to the FLOT also argues for quick displacement of assets that have a high targeting priority by the enemy. This in turn place a primacy on highly reliable logistic equipment and robotic or semi autonomous enhancement to container handlers and bulk movement assets.

With the loss of FARA and FLARA and the emphasis of speed for manned platforms and many new tilting propeller configurations in electric powered vertical flight systems, the future of Sikorsky Aircraft is uncertain. A big corporation like LMC has no special love for historical helicopter companies. The same goes for Boeing and Hughes Helicopter heritage and Piasecki Chinook heritage. We are witnessing an era in Aviation coming to an end, replaced by tilt propellers and electric powered vertical flight platforms!
