After COVID-19 happened, the live convention had to close its door, but it came up and running quickly thanks to the new platform called VidCon Now, which provides online sessions for free to fans and creators around the world.

According to the emerging reports, VidCon announced that its U.S. event will now be hosted from October 21st to 24th 2021 at the Anaheim Convention Center. It’ll also offer two digital ticketing options. One will focus on live streams in sessions taking place in Anaheim and on-demand access to Creator Track workshops and keynotes.

This new date is of course subject to change depending on the situation with COVID-19 and other factors, so time will tell whether it goes ahead as planned.

Vidcon London

The UK version of the large YouTube convention takes place in London.

The website hasn’t been updated to show the date for the 2021 convention, which raises questions as to whether one will take place this year or not.

Vidcon Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Vidcon convention has been confirmed to go ahead on the 3rd December, and will last until the 6th December.

There are no current updates as to whether there will be a Vidcon convention in Australia this year.

While VidCon US has been given a new date, VidCon Mexico another of the most popular YouTube conventions, has been postponed. It’s worth noting that this is the first VidCon convention in Mexico, and it boasts a rich agenda. It’s not yet clear when the convention will go ahead this year, if at all. The tickets are already available for preorder, with a dedicated counter that counts until the event starts. While the community track and the parent pass will both cost $99, the premium experience ticket is priced at $500.

At the moment, it’s not revealed which digital creators will partake in the event. However, the PlayList Live Twitter account actively interacts with its community and listens to their requests and guesstimates.

Social Media Marketing World

Unfortunately, the Social Media Marketing World mega-conference, which gathers many digital creators, some of which are popular YouTube celebrities, is postponed until March 2022.

According to the announcement on the convention’s official website, influencers and digital marketers will be joining the conference on March 14-16, 2022.

The Social Media Examiner event was supposed to take place in San Diego from February 28 to March 2, 2021. Still, judging the situation with COVID-19, the event has been postponed.

NAB SHOW

Nab Show is a popular business convention that caters to digital creators, including YouTubers. It takes place in New York City in 2021 and you can go between the dates of October 9 and October 13. While it’s still unknown who’ll attend and participate in the convention, like always, the event creators take pride in promising a great time and teaching visitors to rebrand and rebuild themselves from scratch.

Pax Conventions

Pax gaming conventions, held by ReedPop and PennyArcade, are some of the most popular gaming conventions that gather digital creators, among which are also YouTube gamers. As you may know, there are several PAX gaming conventions and that – PAX South, PAX Aus, PAX East, PAX West, and Unplugged.

The last in-person PAX event that took place was taking place in February at the PAX East event. Now, the PAX East gaming convention will return from June 3rd to June 6th in Boston. PAX West will take place from September 3 to September 6. 2021 will hopefully be unwrapped between December 10 and 12 at PAX Unplugged.

Summer in the City is a London-based YouTuber convention that should take place between July 31st and August 1st 2021.

Buffer Festival
